Devany Amber Wolfe is a multidisciplinary artist, writer and autistic educator currently living in Toronto, Canada. She has been working in the arts for over twenty years and began her career as an oil painter + graphite artist from 2002-2010, completing commissions for various clients as well as creating her own bodies of work.

Her original focus was on surreal landscapes that acted as portals into other realms - a thread she would later pick up again with the digital collage work she became known for.

Between 2011-2013 Serpentfire was born, which was an homage to a Kundalini awakening that Devany had in 2006 which transformed her life and helped her get sober after many years of addiction. During those two years she dabbled in fashion design and created her first tarot deck, Serpentfire Tarot, that would turn out to be the first of many tarot and oracle decks.

In 2021 Devany received a diagnosis for autism and ADHD, twice-exceptional. It was a life-changing moment to say the least. See the autism education and resources page for more. Since then she has shifted her focus onto listening to her body, slowing down, embracing a creative ebb and her fae creaturehood. She has been thoroughly engaged in autism education on social media and her long-form writing platform on Substack as well as her podcast, She Wolfe Podcast.
